Grouping records using one field

We can group items using avnio tables.

Simple, select column/item which you want to group and drag on the displayed area below.

Here, For example, we want to group using Account name. The below image shows items group by Account name.

We can grouping using any other type also. Also important thing to note is, if record do not have value in group by field, such records will not be grouped and displayed as unbalanced group without any group.

Grouping records using multiple fields

We can also group items with multiple fields.

Here, For example, we want to group using the Account Name and Account Type. The below image shows items group by Account Name and Account Type.

Here, order meters,

1.Group by Account name and then group by Account Type

2.Group by Account Type and then group by Account Name

Both are a different case and gives the different output.

Order of Grouping :

The order of groping is meter.

For example,

  1. Group by Account name and then group by Account Type

  2. Group by Account Type and then group by Account Name

Both are a different case and gives the different output. The below images shows both cases.

Removing Columns from Group :

Click on X (cross sign) displayed in the below image to remove columns from the group.
